Bournemouth Beach Trip

How much is the Beach Trip?

The trip will be the cost of the coach seats for those that come. It will be £15 per person. However, all children that come to the camp will go free with their seats being paid for by Singh Sabha Gurdwara Slough as a reward for attending the camp. At least one adult must accompany a child that comes on the Trip.

How can I go on the Beach Trip? 

You will be able to book tickets to the beach trip on this website closer to the Camp dates. It will be open to the public. Coaches will leave from Khalsa Primary School on Friday morning at 8:00am and return in the evening. All parents/carers will be responsible for their own children during the Beach Trip. No Sevadars will be taking responsibility for the children at the Beach Trip. All adults and children must return to the coach at the beach by the time given by the coach driver in order to leave promptly.

The information you need to know is as follows: 

• Please arrive at Khalsa Primary School Slough by 7:45am on Saturday 8th August. There will be ample parking in the car park and you can leave your cars there until you arrive back.
• Coaches will leave Khalsa Primary School at 8:00am sharp.
• There will be a nominated Sevadar who will be a point of contact. This number will be sent by text to you as soon as someone has been nominated.
• If you are bringing food with you for the Beach Trip, you are only allowed to bring vegetarian food with no meat, egg, fish or nuts. This is to respect the Singh Sabha Gurdwara Slough that is helping to fund this trip for your children that came to the Camp.
• When you are at the Beach, you will be free to do as you wish. There will be no-one in charge. But please return back to the coaches by 5:00pm latest, or whichever time the coach driver says to return by.
• You are expected to return back to Khalsa Primary School by around 7:00pm in the evening, depending on traffic and time of departure from the beach.
• Slough Sikh School Trust or Singh Sabha Gurdwara Slough will take no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal belongings on the trip.
• All children that come are the responsibility of the adults that are accompanying them. There will be no Camp volunteers that will be supervising them.
• No money will be refunded for failing to show up for the trip or deciding not to go.

The deadline for booking the beach trip is Wednesday 5th August (we will have to close bookings early if all seats get booked)
