We are sorry you could not register your child for Khalsa Camp Slough. Places fill up very extremely quickly.

You can join the waiting list and we will contact you should additional places become available.

You are not required to make any payment at this stage.

If a place does become available, you will be asked to make payment at that stage.

1. Registration Type - Join the waiting list

For Khalsa Camp 2026, we are introducing a dedicated provision for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), offering a supportive, inclusive and enjoyable environment tailored to their learning and participation needs.

Places within the SEND provision are limited, and sessions will run daily from 9am to 12pm.

If you would like to register your child for the SEND group, please select in section 4 of this form.

4. School Year Group Selection

Please select your child's current school year group that they are in today at the time of registration (not the one for September). This will be the only group they can go into. So if your child is in Year 2 at school, you should select either Year 2A or 2B group.

Last year, we had a large amount of requests for siblings, cousins and friends to be placed together. In order to accommodate these requests this year, we recommend that you discuss your group selection with you child with his/her friends or relations before registering as this CANNOT be changed afterwards.

  • I understand that emergency services (999) will be contacted where necessary
  • I authorise staff to act in my child’s best interests until I or an emergency contact can be reached

7. Collection Arrangements

You can provide us with a collection password for additional safeguarding. Camp leaders will ask for the collection password when the child is collected at the end of the day.

8. Photo/Video Release

By registering for Khalsa Camp Slough, you hereby agree to allowing your child to be photographed or filmed during Khalsa Camp Slough for the sole purpose of promoting the Camp and the activities we do through social media. This is to make other parents and children aware of Khalsa Camp Slough for future camps. No child’s name will ever be shared with their photo or video so your child cannot be personally identified.

If however, you do not wish for your child to be photographed or filmed for the purpose of promoting Khalsa Camp Slough, please can you submit your request in writing to info@khalsacampslough.com

This may affect your child's participation in certain activities during the camp when filming and photography is taking place.

9. Khalsa Camp Slough – Parent / Carer Agreement

To make sure every child at Khalsa Camp Slough has the best possible experience, we ask all families to read the following guidelines carefully. They cover respect, safety, Gurdwara etiquette, timings, and what to bring. By registering, you agree to support your child in following these guidelines throughout the camp.

Behaviour & Expectations

  • I understand that my child is expected to follow camp values of respect, kindness, and seva
  • I understand the behaviour process (warning → parent contact → possible removal)
  • I understand that serious misconduct may result in my child being sent home and collected promptly

Dress Code

  • I will ensure my child wears a head covering at all times (no scarves)
  • I will ensure my child wears modest, appropriate clothing (legs covered; long sleeves for activities)
  • I understand my child may be unable to participate if not dressed appropriately

Drop-off, Collection & Attendance

  • I will follow the set drop-off and collection times
  • I understand that Years 1–2 must be collected by a responsible adult at the designated collection time
  • I will inform the Group Leader on Monday if an authorised sibling is collecting
  • I understand that late drop-off, late collection, or unexplained absence may result in the place being reallocated

Medical & Medication

  • I will provide accurate medical information
  • I will supply labelled medication and the required Medication Record & Parental Consent (Form 4) where applicable
  • I give permission for trained staff to administer or supervise medication

Food Requirements

  • I understand that all food must be strictly vegetarian (no meat, fish, egg, or nuts)

General Responsibilities

  • I will ensure my child brings required items (e.g. water bottle, suncream)
  • I understand mobile phones must be handed in if brought
  • I understand SSST is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings

Declaration

  • I confirm that all information provided is accurate and up to date
  • I will inform SSST of any changes to medical, contact, or collection details
  • I understand that incorrect or incomplete information may impact emergency response times
  • I consent to the use of this information for safeguarding, medical, and collection purposes
  • I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to all Khalsa Camp Slough guidelines

10. Safeguarding Statement

Khalsa Camp Slough is committed to keeping every child safe.

All volunteers wear a coloured lanyard:

  • Orange = DBS checked and approved to work with children
  • Purple = DBS in progress and always supervised — never left alone with children

This rule is strictly enforced at all times.

11. Donation

No payment will be taken at this time.

If/When a space becomes available, we will contect your via email and send you details of how you can make payment.
